Icon & Infographic Design

Tangible Research is a consortium of haptic robotics companies who are bringing together their individual proprietary technologies to further the possibilities of their field. Because of my successful work with SynTouch, a member of the group, Tangible reached out for my assistance creating a set of icons and accompanying infographic to communicate the different technological components of their telerobotic system, and how they connect with one another.

Process

Because Tangible does not have a brand toolkit, only colors and a font (Poppins), I was faced with the challenge of creating something at once expressive and unique, but also able to remain relevant and cohesive as the company develops. I created stylized versions of the individual robotics components and used their tangerine accent color to add a fun pop and further emphasize the functions of the tech.
