Friends of the LA River is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit committed to “building capacity for communities, students, and future leaders to advocate for nature, climate, and equity on the Los Angeles River.” They partnered with Frogtown Brewery to create an exclusive beer for their LA Riverfest 2022. FOLAR asked me to create a vibrant label design celebrating the often overlooked biodiversity of the LA River that would also hold its own on a shelf alongside other craft beer labels.
